A HEART TO MEND a fiction

A Heart to Mend is a romance novel set in Lagos, Nigeria and tells of two protagonists, Gladys and Edward, and how they found true love together in spite of the obstacles they faced. Being almost unique as a contemporary romance novel set in Nigeria, the book has generated quite an interest and following on many social media sites including facebook and twitter. From January up to April, it was one of the top ten books viewed and read on the sample free reading site, Freado.com. There has been reviews in both UK, US and Nigerian newspapers and magazines. Due to popular demand, I got an offer to publish the novel in Nigeria. The Nigerian edition has been launched with a raffle included (see attached) and is available for distribution.

About the author. 

My name is Nkem Akinsoto also known as Myne Whitman. I grew up during the 1980's in Enugu, Nigeria. I remember as a child studying a lot, reading everything I could lay my hands on, and then trying to play as much as possible. I sometimes across as quiet and laid-back but do like a good loud debate sometimes. In three words, I will describe myself as friendly, caring and fun-loving. I have been a teacher, NGO consultant, banker, skate-hire attendant, researcher and Scottish government worker. After a postgraduate degree and a few years in Edinburgh, Scotland, I now live in the United States with my husband. (see picture at side bar)
